Episode 45 Sketching  /the Barbican Lunch

Title / Barbican Lunch bag / medium Used black Biro Pen and black permanent marker pen.

This image below is of Sketch of the my Lunch bag where I am in huge hall space that does a lot of events and different activities and the named of the place is called the ( Barbican in East London )

Aims of the Sketch

My aims of the Sketch is to simply get back into the practice of Sketching from basics of not over thinking too much on getting started on Sketching my surroundings to create a collection of sketches that depict a moment of my day to represent where I am to

stay practicing my Sketching skills between my day job and weekends where I am free to practice I want to show you the viewer that you can draw anything any time anywhere if you put say 10 mins of Sketching to start with just to get your practice in.

As I began this sketch my process was to use a grid to mark out a sketch lightly in biro black pen, to gradually start the Sketch with the water bottle, Sketching the water bottle lightly then I worked my

way to sketch the bag with my lunch next then after worked my way around the Sketch to build the image to draw what I see to the best of my ability at this time to always know I can can always do better to Improve my skills.

My Final Conclusions

My Final thoughts are I know I love to draw but sometimes life can get in the way from doing what you love , but for me if you really want to try anything say for example for me it’s sketching for practicing and you’re a beginner or someone with some experience,

I think it’s great to research other artists to find inspiration BUT ( imposter syndrome) is so real and you might fall into a comparison trap where you compare your skills where you are now to an Artist of high standard, just know that Artist you might look up

to have practiced for hours and hours and you can do exactly the same, if you create the time in a small way daily, you commit to practicing as much as possible, and keep looking for new ways to sketch on a daily basis wherever you are in this World find a life

drawing group and join it and meet other like minded people from all walks of life to better your confidence to draw and find your enjoyment no matter who you are or where you come from

If you have any questions hit me up in the comments or the emails I’ll do my best to help you as much as I can.

I truly hope my Post has helped you today.

Thanx for reading till next time

take care.

Episode 42 Sketching

Hotel Lobby Morning Chill

The image of a person sitting in a chair in a hotel lobby is a perfect example of a scene that can be captured through life drawing. The person in question could be a guest waiting for a friend, a business traveler checking their emails, or simply someone taking a break from their day. Whatever the reason, the person sitting in the chair provides an excellent opportunity for an artist to observe and document the human form in a relaxed and natural setting.

As an artist, observing and capturing the human form requires an eye for detail and the ability to pick up on nuances that may seem insignificant at first glance. Perhaps it’s the way the person is sitting – are they slouching, or is their back straight as an arrow? Maybe it’s the curves of their body, or the small, everyday gestures that they make while waiting. Whatever it is that catches your eye, life drawing allows you to capture these small but significant details that make the person in the chair unique.

To create a successful life drawing of a person sitting in a chair in a hotel lobby requires careful observation, skillful use of light and shadow, and an understanding of the body’s proportions. As the artist, you must start by creating a rough sketch, mapping out the basic lines and shapes of your subject before adding in more detail. Then, you can gradually begin to add shadows and shading, giving the drawing depth and dimension.

Overall, drawing a person sitting in a chair in a hotel lobby is a delightful way to practice your skills in life drawing. It provides an atmosphere that is both relaxed and dynamic, providing the artist with the challenge of capturing a subject in motion while having an opportunity to observe people in an everyday setting. With time and effort, you can make your life drawings of people in chairs at hotel lobbies beautiful, detailed, and highly realistic.

WEST CROYDON TRAIN PLATFORM SUPPORT (PHOTOSHOP VERSION)

Hi guys I’m with another repost episode from my previous sketch from episode 10 and if you remember I was at a train platform at hometown Croydon, and just before the train came to take me to east London and I’m sure all over  the UK have Object too, at train stations , so I sketched the image of the platform across me, where there is

a disability board that’s used on the trains in London, to help those that are wheelchair bound, and this long rectangle object helps the train staff aid the wheelchair bound passengers on the train, and I think this object is brilliant at the station to have, this is what I came up with.

If there’s any questions that you or if there’s anyway I can help or aid please hit my website emails or comments an I’ll get to you when I can thanx for visiting my website blog.
